Glenn Miller is quiet, intense and occasionally a bit extreme. Those characteristics can be seen in the mix of stylistic artistry and functional craftsmanship Glenn brings to his work.
Born in Miami, Florida as the middle child of five, the ocean was the setting for many childhood excursions - Miami Beach trips with his Mom, saltwater fishing trips with his Dad. Glenn's artistic talents surfaced early. He entered and won his first art contest in third grade, and discovered along the way that he enjoyed the creative challenge more than winning the prize. He never entered another contest.
 Then and now, Glenn "strives for perfection, and then critiques for improvement". He is fascinated with doors, reading everything he can find in the subject. Following the footsteps of the old timers, he is regarded by many as an "old soul" and one of the few left in a dying breed of true craftsmen.
